Production process.

1.- Mixing dough. In this operation of the process, wheat flour and all ingredients are mixed to produce a soft dough.

2.- Cutting dough. In this operation of the process, the dough is cut in small portions with standard size.

3.- Rounding Balls. In this operation of the process, the dough balls are rounded to form a “testal” [rounded balls].

4.- Leave to Stand. In this operation of the process, we let the dough balls stand. The average settle time is 40 minutes.

5.- Pressing. In this operaton of the process, the “testal” is pressed to give the round form to the tortilla.

6.- Cooking. In this operation of the process, the tortilla is cooked.

7.- Cooling. In this operation of the process, the tortilla is cooled down for immediate packing.

8.- Packing. In this operation of the process, the tortillas are sorted and packed.

9.- Sale.

It is important to know that our product can be frozen at home when fresh and then stored for a long period of time without losing any of its attributes. Just defrost the wheat flour tortillas or take them out of the freezer 20 minutes before you would like to use it and enjoy.
